What changed since June 2026.

We re-read every agency page against the figures in our June 2026 state guides. These rules moved.

New in the atlas: Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (Flagstaff Mountain facilities), Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Colorado National Monument, Garden of the Gods Park, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, Roxborough State Park, BLM Moab Field Office (Fisher Towers, Corona Arch and more), Capitol Reef National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Natural Bridges National Monument, Snow Canyon State Park, Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Saguaro National Park.

  1. Mount Rainier National Park National park · Washington

June data: $25 application fee + $250 management fee. Today: $50 application fee + $275 management fee ($325 total).

  2. Olympic National Park National park · Washington

June data: 2-week minimum lead time. Today: 'at least 1 month in advance'. Fee ($50), 5-person no-permit threshold, 12 wilderness cap, 50 max and 2-hour window are unchanged.

  3. Crescent Moon Picnic Site / Red Rock Crossing (Sedona) National forest · Arizona

June data: groups of 15 or fewer (incl. officiant and photographer) book by phone with the concessionaire; larger groups rent the ramada on Recreation.gov. Today both go through the Recreation.gov wedding venue, with exact prices ($114/$130 time slot, $182 ramada). New: site flood closure.

  4. Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park National park · Hawaii

$150 and the drone ban are confirmed. June data said ceremonies are prohibited at Halema'uma'u crater and the hula platform, max one table and twelve chairs, and entrance fees apply. Today the page instead lists eight authorized locations (Halema'uma'u is not among them), no longer mentions the table and chairs, and says non-recreational special uses are exempt from entrance fees.
