Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Elopelist (elopelist.com) is a curated directory of elopement and micro-wedding professionals in the United States, operated by Edem Dogbe. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to the operator of elopelist.com.

2. Information we collect

Vendor directory data

Vendor listings may be created from publicly available information (business name, city, state, website, Instagram, phone number, service descriptions, price ranges). This information is sourced from vendors' own public websites and social profiles. Vendors can claim their listing at any time to update or remove it.

Lead inquiry forms

When you submit an inquiry to a vendor through Elopelist, we collect your name, email address, optional event date, and your message. This information is delivered directly to the vendor you contacted. We do not share it with other vendors or third parties beyond what is required to deliver the message.

Vendor claim forms

When a vendor submits a claim for their listing, we collect their business email address and optional notes. This is used solely to verify ownership and process the claim.

Usage data

We may collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer) for security and performance purposes. We do not use behavioral tracking pixels or advertising trackers.

Since July 2026 we run Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure which pages get read. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie, stores no identifier on your device, does not follow you across sites, and does not build a profile of you. It reports aggregate page views, referrers, and load performance only.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver your inquiry to the vendor you contacted.
• To process vendor claims and listing updates.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. Third-party services

We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver transactional emails (lead inquiries, claim acknowledgements). Resend processes email data on our behalf and is bound by data processing agreements. Please refer to Resend's privacy policy for details.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process network-level data (IP addresses) as part of its infrastructure and security services.

5. Data retention

Lead inquiry data is retained only as long as necessary to deliver the message and maintain a brief audit log for spam prevention. Vendor directory data remains on the site until the vendor requests removal or we determine it is no longer accurate.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Vendors may update or remove their listing at any time by using the claim process on their listing page.

Couples who submitted an inquiry may request deletion of their contact information by emailing us at the address below. Note that we cannot recall messages already delivered to a vendor.

7. Cookies

Elopelist does not set non-essential cookies. The site may use session-level cookies for form state only. No tracking cookies are used.

8. Children's privacy

Elopelist is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
