Caps & rules
Weddings are simple, outdoor, no-frills ceremonies. Ceremonies are usually limited to 20 minutes. No exclusive use of any area, and no area is closed to the public. No permits for backcountry locations. Music must be non-amplified instruments only. No tents, carpets, floral displays or generators (a few portable chairs are allowed). No throwing or scattering of rice, birdseed, petals or other materials, and no release of butterflies, balloons or other objects. Drones are prohibited. The park says the site list and limits are subject to change while it completes the compliance process for wedding permits.
Photographer
Photographers and videographers are included in the permit. The couple and ceremony participants may take photos at other locations in the park, though group sizes may be limited at the location chosen.
Seasons
Most sites are open year-round, weather-dependent; the Group Campsite is available only when reservable on recreation.gov. At the Campground Amphitheater, no weddings an hour before or after scheduled ranger programs (3 pm from mid-March to early November, and around sunset from mid-April to mid-October).
