Elope Telluride is a two-person operation built specifically around the San Juan Mountains: Joe shoots as lead photographer while Rhonda manages planning and logistics, covering timelines, permits, and vendor coordination. They work exclusively in the Telluride, Ouray, and Ridgway area rather than statewide, which is the entire premise of the business — deep local expertise in one mountain range instead of broad coverage. Since starting in 2019 they have planned and photographed over 200 elopements, and they transport couples to ceremony sites in their Land Cruiser, nicknamed Bruiser, which opens up rugged locations that ordinary rental cars cannot reach. Most of their clients travel to Colorado from elsewhere, so the planning side leans heavily on handling locations, timing, and logistics for people who have never set foot in the San Juans.
