About

Farm-to-table isn't a catering buzzword here — it is a requirement. Common Ground, an 87-acre regenerative farm in the hills above Kilauea Town on Kauai's north shore, caters every event exclusively through its own culinary team, with outside caterers not permitted, so menus are built around what the land produces. Three venue spaces handle weddings from private elopements through full receptions: the Eucalyptus Canopy, a ceremony site beneath trees planted over a century ago for the Kilauea sugar plantation railroad, frames a view of Namahana mountain under natural shade; the Lei Garden Pond hosts intimate gatherings with a 50-by-66-foot tent and the adjacent Ti Pavilion, which also serves as the weather backup; and the Grand Lawn opens up for larger receptions facing Namolokama. The farm positions itself for the whole wedding arc — welcome dinners, rehearsal gatherings, and pre-wedding celebrations alongside the main event — and recommends booking six to twelve months out to secure preferred dates. Beaches like Hanalei Bay, Anini, and Kauapea are minutes downhill, putting ocean portraits within easy reach of a mountain-view ceremony. Pricing is provided through the events team rather than published, with inquiries handled by email or phone.
