Alishia Joubert, Bellingham Harpist
About
Three flat-rate packages put harpist Alishia Joubert among the most transparently priced ceremony musicians in Washington. Her Silver package, $250, was created for budget-minded couples planning short-but-sweet weddings: fifteen minutes of prelude as guests arrive, two processionals and a recessional, a ceremony of up to twenty minutes, and a ten-minute postlude, with no consultation required for couples short on time. Gold, at $350 plus a $50 outdoor surcharge, expands to twenty minutes of prelude, up to five pieces within a thirty-minute ceremony, a private forty-five-minute music consultation, and a day-of rehearsal with a vocalist. Platinum, $450 with the same outdoor surcharge, covers ceremonies up to an hour, including full Catholic masses, with unlimited selections. Every package includes her full-size pedal harp, a visual centerpiece as much as an instrument. Trained in harp performance at Northwestern University under Liz Cifani, principal harpist of the Chicago Lyric Opera, she has also performed everywhere from medieval events to collaborations with a rap artist. Based in Bellingham and billed for the Seattle market as well, she serves the northwest corner of the state, convenient to the San Juan Islands and Mount Baker elopement country. Booking goes through her listed phone or email.
